Portrait of an Era – This is the start of a retrospective from my days living in the Sierra Foothills around the town of Sonora. Many of these photos were taken in my role as photographer and publisher of the Mother Lode Weekly, a weekly newspaper that covered recreation, entertainment and cultural news in Tuolumne, Calaveras counties and parts of Mariposa and Alpine counties.
